We are done with the first part of our project. We have put into a readable form and will be publishing it on the website. After we are done with that, we will go to the actually interesting part: the asymmetry in technological progress and the changing economy of scale in military production. Somewhat counterintuitively, the uneven technological progress has often limited the maximum production capacities, incentivising manufacturers to choose methods less suited for and less cost effective under the large volumes of output. Combined with the decrease in military demand post-1991, the uneven technological progress has effectively locked most of the Western military industry in the small scale output trap.
